The Operations Officer Kenema Division, Inspector Mohamed Korneh, intimated the SLP Media Unit -Eastern Region that on Thursday 28th March 2024, his team conducted a swift raid at “C”- curve, in Kenema City, and apprehended one Jariatu Mustapha of 18 Second Street with forty – six (46) wraps of “Kush” in a bar owned by one alias “K-man”.

Consequently, the said “K-man” was arrested and, he admitted that indeed he gave the drug’ (Kush) to Jariatu for sales.

In another development, upon a tip of information received, the Operations Team intercepted a vehicle, with registration number ASZ 886 that was driven by one Mohamed Soyer of “C-line”

Nyandeyama Section, Kenema City and found in his possession ninety (90) wraps of kush, which was hidden underneath the driver’s seat.

All suspects and exhibits are in police custody, helping in the investigation.
