The Sierra Leone Police at Ross Road Police in Freetown are presently Investigating the mysterious death of Aminata Princess, an external beneficiary to the Non-Governmental Organisation, Don Bosco.
Speaking to the management of Don Bosco last Monday at their Fort Street headquarter office in Freetown on the death of the young lady, they refused to comment on the matter and referred the investigating journalists to the Ross Road Police Station for better and accurate update on the matter.
The management maintained that they have types of beneficiaries including, internal and external, adding that the late Princess fell under the external beneficiary’s category.
They formed that Aminata Princess went to the street at the age of eleven (11), adding that they have been doing their best to adopt the late girl at the Don Bosco Home, but she had refused to stay together with other street children at the home, and preferred to live externally under the supervision of the NGO under review.
Speaking on the matter, the Regional Media, Mr. Senessie attached at the Ross Road Police Station, said the late girl escaped from Don Bosco Home and stayed together with her boyfriend, noting that the man who allegedly harbored her is on the run.
Mr. Sennessie explained that the police would declare the absconded boyfriend wanted, advancing that the remains of the late girl was presently at the Connaught Hospital Mortuary for postmortem, which is expected to take place Wednesday to ascertain the cause of death by the Government Pathologist, Dr. Simeon Owizz Koroma.
He said the police are currently searching for the absconded boyfriend to the law, adding that all necessary statements have been taken down.
According to police information, the late girl was drug addict, smoking the recent drug in Sierra Leone known as “Kush”, which is destroying valuable lives of young people.
According to Sierra Express, it was alleged that the absconded boyfriend of late Princess was not happy with the way and manner she was smoking Kush and as a result of his unhappiness, he usually beat the late girl to stop the harmful habit of smoking and drinking alcohol.
