The Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) in Sierra Leone held a solemn ceremony today to open a book of condolence for the late Prince C.R. Coker at the Commission’s conference room on OAU Drive, Tower Hill.

Mr. Coker, who passed away recently by Raod Accident, was a prominent political figure, serving as the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Political Parties Association (APPA) until his untimely death.

The event drew a significant attendance from various political party leaders, PPRC commissioners, and representatives from other democratic institutions, showcasing the impact Mr. Coker had on the political landscape in Sierra Leone.

Among those present were members from the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) and the National Commission for Democracy (NCD).

The ceremony was conducted by Rev. Dr. Francis Lahai, the Chaplain of the Sierra Leone Peoples Party, who led attendees in a moment of reflection.

Tributes were delivered by Mr. Coker’s family, representatives from the PDP, and the APPA, highlighting his contributions to the democratic process in Sierra Leone and the respect he commanded among his peers.
