Pa Foday Gogra, affectionately known as “Ngor Peema,” the oldest and most dedicated civil servant in Pujehun District, has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering commitment and service.

According to the residents, Pa Foday Gogra aged over 100 years.

Until his recent demise, Pa Foday Gogra served as a devoted cleaner at the Pujehun District Council (PDC).

Hailing from Kebawana village, situated a mile and a half away from the district’s headquarters of Pujehun, Pa Foday Gogra’s daily routine was a testament to his incredible dedication. Every morning, he would trek from his village to the Pujehun District Council to fulfill his duties with remarkable diligence.

His enduring commitment and invaluable contributions to the community have left an indelible mark that will be cherished and remembered for generations to come.
