A class 5 pupil of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Primary School at Petifu Mayepo has made a humble plea to the government.

The pupil, who was addressing the Vice President, Dr. Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh and other dignitaries at an event, started by appreciating the government for the work with regards education in the country.

He applauded the government’s commitment to the Free and Quality Education (FQE) Project, the school feeding programme, the 30 percent quota for women. The young boy also called issues like the visiting teachers condition of service, violation of citizens rights by security apparatus in the country and the improvement of agriculture mechanisation in the country.

The young boy also gave several recommendations to the government in addressing school transportation issue, the service of community teachers, continuation of the school feeding programme and more attention to the condition of teachers.
