Q-net has debunked allegations by the Police that the company is involved in fraud and that, it is a fraudulent enterprise.
According to the Police, the district has received complaints from the public about the activities of Q-net and declared it a criminal enterprise in other to salvage any further harm in the country.
Representing the company in a press briefing on Thursday, 2 February 2023, the company’s attorneys, Musa Pious Sesay and Bestmab D. Jurah Snr said Qnet has a track record of transparency and does not engage in dubious activities. They said the company does not process travel or offer travel assistance and that it is not an employment agency.
They asked the public to disregard such proposals as it from malicious individuals who want to tarnish the image of the company.
Q-net has been in operation in Sierra Leone since 2018 with operations in about 100 countries in the world.
The company according to its lawyers offer personal learning and online education for people who do not want to relocate abroad to study and courses for entrepreneurs.
The lawyers implored the public any information about Qnet processing their travels, saying “anyone who tells you they will facilitate your travels overseas is a liar.”
They said the company does not have staff in the country but representatives who help market their product in line with the company’s ethical rules.
The company promises to cooperate with the Sierra Leone Police to bring the criminals to book.
