The young lady who was reported missing a couple of days ago after travelling from Kono to Makeni has been found.

According to a press release, which is believed to have come from her family, Hawa Sheriff was found unharmed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, in Makeni.

“We are relieved to inform the public that the young lady who was reported missing after travelling from Kono to Makeni has been found safe and sound,” the notice reads.

“She was found in Makeni and the family and friends would like to thank the public for their cooperation and assistance in the matter,” it continues.

Meanwhile, a conversation shared by a popular blogger, Hamza Koroma, claims that Hawa left Kono after she had disagreement with her fiance and her family concerning a supposed marriage that has been rescheduled for another date.

It is alleged that the fiance was detained by the police for further questioning.

Hawa, commonly known as Saefunya, was declared missing on Monday, July 1, 2024, following her sudden disappearance on the same day.
