In a remarkable show of community spirit and gratitude, the Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF), Presidential Guards, and the Operational Support Division (OSDs) have come together to volunteer for a citywide cleaning exercise.
The initiative focuses on areas surrounding the city center and the central business district.
These dedicated patriots, who serve to safeguard the nation, have decided to contribute to the well-being of the community. The cleaning exercise is an expression of their desire to give back to citizens whose taxes play a crucial role in supporting their operational needs.
The event, scheduled for the 17th of January 2024, underscores the commitment of Sierra Leone’s security forces not only to national defense but also to actively participating in activities that enhance the environment and the quality of life for citizens.
Hope to get the City saff to join the forces and Communities.
This is a very good initiative. I hope the Mayor and inhabitants of Freetown recognise their efforts.
May God bless them.
I only hope the National forces will not allow unscrupulous elements to join them . This should be Non civilian issue therefore anyone to should be allowed to join. Soldiers/ police be vigilant.
The security forces have debunked this. They said its misleading. So who is fooling who here?
