Haja Nema, a Sierra Leonean woman, has taken to Facebook to reveal a distressing ordeal involving an alleged scam related to Hajj pilgrimage.

According to her account, she and her companions were purportedly defrauded of a significant sum of $11,000 by individuals identified as Alhaji TS Bangura, his wife Fatmata TS Bangura, and Sulaiman Barrie.

The alleged scam involved the provision of counterfeit Hajj visas, preventing the group from fulfilling their pilgrimage to Mecca.

In her Facebook post, Haja Nema expresses profound disappointment and sadness, as she was supposed to embark on the sacred journey to Mecca for Hajj. However, she claims that the accused individuals orchestrated a scam, misleading her and her friends with promises of facilitating their pilgrimage. Instead, they allegedly swindled them of $11,000 and provided them with fraudulent visas, effectively thwarting their plans for Hajj.

In her statement on Facebook, Haja Nema shares her distress over the situation, urging her followers to keep her in their prayers. She expresses gratitude for arriving safely in Dulles but laments the missed opportunity to perform Hajj due to the purported scam orchestrated by Alhaji TS Bangura, Fatmata TS Bangura, and Sulaiman Barrie.

She further vows to delve into the intricate details of the ordeal through a ten-part series and declares her intention to pursue legal action against the alleged perpetrators, aiming to prevent them from conducting business in the USA or Sierra Leone in the future.
