The Organising Team for the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) National Young Generation Council (NYGC) End-of-Year Party held a strategic engagement with the party’s National Secretary General, Hon. Param Umar Tarawally, at his office in the SLPP National Secretariat in Freetown.

The meeting served to formally notify Hon. Tarawally of his appointment as Grand Chief Patron for the forthcoming NYGC End-of-Year Party, scheduled for 23rd December 2025 at the Ocean View Resort in Sussex, Freetown. In his new role, he is expected to support and strengthen the overall planning process to ensure a successful and memorable celebration.

Hon. Tarawally expressed appreciation for the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to youth-driven initiatives within the party as preparations for the event intensify.

During the visit, the Organising Team also presented the National Secretary General with a formal invitation letter and NYGC-branded souvenirs as a gesture of respect and recognition for his office.
