The Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC), reported that Makeni police are investigating one Momoh Turay who is said to have used a very sharp cutlass to slaughter his biological father due to malice over food items which his father refused to give to him.

The ugly incident is reported to have taken place on the 7th August this year while Momoh and his deceased father were at their farm.

Momoh, who is said to be mentally imbalanced, has reportedly admitted killing his father out of malice and has been arrested and detained, helping the police in their investigation while the matter is said to have been referred to the State Counsel in Makeni for legal advice.
