Mohamed Jalloh, a middle age man identified has been sentenced to three years imprisonment by magistrate Mustapha Brima Jah for stealing a washing board. This is according to A-z Newspaper.
A-z noted that Mohamed Jalloh a passerby in Madam Melinda Pish’s compound in Makeni was caught stealing a washing board belonging to Madam Melinda Pish and as a result, he was arrested and taken to the Police station; nothing after a police investigation he was charged to court of which he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to three years imprisonment for larceny contrary to section two of the larceny act of 1916.
The convict Mohamed Jalloh is presently serving his three years jail term at the Makeni correctional centre. The matter was prosecuted by police office 1702 Thoronka and Lawyer Victor Koroma was the defence counsel.
