Chairpersons, mayors, councillors of the three districts in the North Western Region, including Port Loko, Kambia, and Karene have in their inauguration ceremony taken their Oaths before the Vice President, Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh.

The ceremony took place at the District council of Port Loko City on Friday October 27, 2023.

The honourable vice president Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh led the process were all entitled candidates successfully took the oath of office.

In his statement, the vice president preached about peace and unity, reminding everyone to work together just as we all worship in the same mosques and churches together.

Resident Minister, Umaru Bond Wurrie promised to work closely with his council chairmen for the betterment of the region. “because what I have been waiting for has happened today, my region will be the best” he added. 

The program was highly attended by supporters of various elected officials and their political parties across all the district.
