Twenty-year-old Edith White, a nanny, and thirty-three-year-old Sallieu Bangura, a security guard, have been granted bail in their ongoing theft case.
Appearing before Magistrate Sahr Kekura at Pademba Road Court No.1 in Freetown, the pair faces charges of conspiracy to commit a crime and larceny by servant.
The charges relate to an alleged theft of $20,000 and 80,000 Leones from Dr. Mustapha S. Kabba on June 7, 2024, at B27 Sawi Drive, Freetown.
Magistrate Kekura granted bail to each accused in the amount of 500,000 Leones, requiring one surety in the same amount. The surety must be a resident of the western area and provide valid identification.
