Samuel E. Metzeger, a final-year student at the University of Makeni (UniMak), has been reported to have hanged himself at Upper John Street in Makeni.

Sources close to Metzeger, who was commonly known as Sky, indicate that he did not take his final exams due to struggles with depression.

‘He had been battling depression recently,’ said one of his former classmates.

The source also revealed that, until his passing, Sky had been struggling with a cannabis addiction.
