In a letter, the United States Ambassador, David Reimer expressed his condolence to the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) for the death of Philip Neville, Esther Kargbo and Samuel Laverse popularly known as DJ Lawva.

“On behalf of the United States Embassy in Freetown, Sierra Leone, I offer our deepest condolences to the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists on the passing of your colleagues, Philip Neville of the Media One Center, Esther Kargbo of the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation and Samuel Laverse of Radio Democracy,” the letter reads.
