The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) which is working towards achieving zero hunger has concluded an assessment on 20 farmer organizations in Kenema district.
This assessment is to ensure that, the international standards are met at different intervals as well as equipping the production rates in the country.
WFP in working with the standard bureau just concluded a quality and quantity assessment for 39.350mts rice to be bought from 20 farmer organizations in the aforementioned district.
Different farmer organizations have been anticipating such moves in the district as the effect of agriculture is taking a positive face throughout the country.
