Sierra Leonean female rapper Wisher Baby expressed her profound sorrow and frustration following a devastating accident that occurred earlier this morning on the White Stone Waterloo Highway. The tragic incident has left four to six people half dead, including Wisher Baby’s driver, and has caused significant damage to her sprinter van, a vital source of income for her family.

Recalling the struggles she has faced, Wisher Baby shared her painful experiences of betrayal and loss. “Last year, a friend of mine I trusted with everything in me defrauded me of up to $9,000. I nearly went crazy, but my mother advised me to forgive and forget everything, which I did. Then I decided to take my last bit of money to invest in this sprinter, hoping it would bring income for my family, as I am the breadwinner,” she explained.

The accident has dealt a heavy blow to Wisher Baby, who had pinned her hopes on the sprinter to support her family financially. “I have suffered seriously. I still don’t believe it until now. Up to four to six people are dead on the road, including my driver. Ya Allah, what is happening? I pray the Sierra Leone police help bring justice not only for my vehicle but for the people involved in the accident. If they will survive, only God knows,” she lamented.

The rapper’s plea for justice resonates deeply, as she calls on the Sierra Leone Police to investigate the accident thoroughly and ensure accountability for the tragedy that has shattered her livelihood and affected several families. Wisher Baby’s story highlights the precariousness many Sierra Leoneans face, relying on small investments to support their loved ones amid economic challenges.
