A violent altercation over property ownership has left the community in shock after Kadiatu Coker allegedly attacked Haja Konneh with a corrosive substance.
The incident, which stems from a decade-long dispute over a two-bedroom house, has intensified public outcry over unresolved family conflicts.
The contentious property, originally built by Haja Konneh’s late husband and Kadiatu Coker’s elder brother, has been a source of tension between the two women since his death.
Haja Konneh claims the house symbolizes the life she and her husband built together, while Kadiatu Coker argues it holds sentimental value as part of her brother’s legacy.
Witnesses recount that the dispute reached a boiling point when Kadiatu, during an argument, allegedly doused Haja Konneh with a liquid believed to be caustic soda.
Despite Kadiatu’s claims that the substance was merely a mixture of pepper and water, onlookers believe the burns sustained by Haja Konneh were caused by the caustic soda Kadiatu had reportedly purchased days earlier.
The assault occurred near the Eastern Police Station along the Bo-Kenema Highway, prompting immediate intervention from bystanders who rushed Haja Konneh to the hospital.
A medical report confirmed the severity of her injuries. Authorities promptly arrested Kadiatu Coker, who is now detained at the Central Police Division as investigations continue.

If indeed the property was built by Haja Konneh and her husband as alleged, then it is her property following the demise of her husband. Kadiatu Koker has no business claiming ownership of the property. She should be imprisoned for a long period of time for her satanic behaviour.

And this woman was not even the first, second or third wife to the late man,the late man left more than sex children with different women which he also married them and later he lived them.
The compound this woman is claiming today at kallon street belong to the late man father call (Musa sesay Coker) and this man have his original document for this compound.
The late man build more than five houses in Bo including two stores building and the late man build one stories building for this woman at around korenbodo high way right at the entrance to kallon street junction the building is there right now and the house in under rent and she is collecting the money every Year.
But still this woman said she need this compound were the late man have been leaving before both of them become husband and wife.
After the death of her husband all the family members came together and hands over all the properties and the children to her but this compound she is claiming today was not among the late man property.
But after a years back this woman was not taking care of the other children only her own children, so one of the late man son call her grandfather and told him everything about what her step mother is doing to them.
So there grandfather came back from the village he was very sick, the man want to enter to his compound this woman stop him and said there is no free room in this compound and the man ask her are you talking to me this way and she said yes and all this thing happened in the evening.
