A shocking incident has emerged in Peyima Town, Kenema District, where a 19-year-old girl named Becky from Sukudu was allegedly drugged and sexually assaulted by a man identified as Husama from Sandor Chiefdom.

The alleged assault occurred around 5:00 pm on Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, when Husama reportedly offered Becky a drink laced with drugs.

Following the consumption of the beverage, Becky reportedly became unconscious. It is alleged that Husama then transported her to a nearby bush where he sexually assaulted her.

After the assault, the suspect is said to have abandoned Becky in a vulnerable state by the roadside. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, prompting widespread calls for justice and accountability.
