A somber cloud has fallen over communities near Lungi following the tragic death of Ramatu Bangura earlier today. The incident occurred as Ms. Bangura was traveling from Lungi when the speedboat she was aboard reportedly capsized.

According to information shared by the Tombo Media Engagement Blog, the unfortunate accident resulted in Ms. Bangura being the sole fatality. Despite the efforts of those involved, she was the only passenger who did not survive the incident.

As of late this afternoon, the remains of Ramatu Bangura have yet to be recovered. This has prompted an urgent appeal to residents in Lungi, Tagrin, Ferry, and surrounding areas. Anyone who may come across her remains is being asked to immediately contact the following number: 079995656.
