A tragic incident happened at the Jenkin Street community as a young man identified as Mohamed Yoraw Bendu lost his life following a fatal stabbing on Sunday evening.
According to eyewitnesses, Bendu was allegedly attacked by his friend, known only as Abubakarr, who goes by the alias “Alkaline.” The motive behind the altercation remains unclear.
The victim was immediately rushed to Connaught Hospital for emergency treatment but was later pronounced dead.
Authorities have since launched a manhunt for the suspect, who is currently on the run. Police are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to his arrest.
Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to report to the nearest police station.
