Like most government employees in the country, SLBC staff are suffering from low pay and delayed paychecks, so this is good for them. But they are not teachers, medical professionals, police, fire. Why would the government just raise just their salary like that? Is this so that they are more willing to sell the lies the government will be telling to the other suffering masses as things continue to get worse, les about the election and the economy?
. The increment is in two way please. So we understand.
25% increment for October n 25% for next year July.
But the problem is not increment. The problem is harmonized salary structure. Some people are getting very high pay with less work and have not been there even up to five yrs whilst others who’ve stayed there for over fifteen yrs are receiving peanuts. Salary as low as 600 new leones. So the salary structure should be harmonized before even the increment because for some, the increment makes no impact
If the government can increase 50% salary of SLBC just like that why can’t they do the same for teachers, doctors, and other civil and public servants we are all buying from the same market Ooooh animal farm
