A total of 57 delegates have been officially vetted and approved to take part in the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Elective Congress scheduled for Saturday 2nd August 2025.
The event will be a key moment in determining the future direction of football governance in the country.
According to the SLFA, the vetted delegates represent various football stakeholders including regional and district associations, clubs, and interest groups within the national football structure. These delegates will cast votes to elect the SLFA President and other executive members who will serve a four-year term.
The Elective Congress comes at a time when the SLFA is seeking to consolidate reforms and improve the development of the sport nationwide. The process leading up to the congress has drawn significant public and stakeholder attention, with calls for transparency and fair play.
