Management and Staff of the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) in Magburaka has announced the death of Abdul Karim Kanu, 39 years of age.
According to reports, Mr. Kanu was the Deputy Manager and Finance Officer of SLBC Magburaka till his death. He was a devoted public worker and he was well known for his professionalism, leadership, and steadfastness to the expansion of the station.
He was also the Branch Youth Chairman of the Sierra Leone Red Cross Society, in charge of youth empowerment programs and community service before his demise.
A condolence book has been set up at the SLBC Magburaka office for friends, colleagues, relatives, and members of the public to offer condolences and share memories of the late Mr. Kanu.
The funeral service is set for Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. The Station Manager of SLBC Magburaka has signed this announcement on behalf of the company’s management and staff.
