The Anti-Corruption Commission of Sierra Leone has released the third serialised media release which provides further updates and information to the general public on the actions taken on issues raised in the auditor general’s report of 2021.
According to them, the interventions focused on aspects of possible or alleged corruption and conduct inconsistent with the provision(s) in the ACC Act of 2008 as amended in 2019.
The actions initiated by the commission was with the view of investigating, prosecuting, or recovering of public funds, public revenue, and public property as may be necessary and in accordance with section 7, and 48 of the ACC Act of 2008 as amended in 2019.
