Francis Ben Kaifala, Commissioner of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), bagged three prestigious national awards in a single night, highlighting his exceptional leadership and dedication to public service.
The awards, presented on Saturday, 17th January, by the National Professional Awards team, recognized Ben Kaifala for Outstanding Leadership and Professional Excellence, celebrating his significant contributions in the fight against corruption and his broader impact on national development.
Quoting Proverbs 22:29 — “Seeyest thou a man diligent in his works… he shall stand before kings, not mean men” — Ben Kaifala described the recognition as a testament to diligence, consistency, and purpose-driven leadership.
Under his leadership, the ACC has achieved remarkable results, including strengthening accountability, recovering misappropriated public funds, and ensuring a high conviction rate in corruption cases. His approach has been marked by professionalism, firmness, and an unrelenting pursuit of justice, earning him both national and international recognition.
Expressing gratitude to Peter SaSellu and the National Professional Awards team, Ben Kaifala said the triple honor motivates him to continue serving Sierra Leone with even greater dedication, describing himself as “relentless” in the pursuit of integrity and good governance.
Winning three awards in one night not only highlights Ben Kaifala’s individual excellence but also reinforces public confidence in the leadership of the ACC. The recognition serves as an inspiration to public servants and leaders across sectors, demonstrating that commitment, diligence, and ethical leadership are valued and rewarded.
