The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), and the Directorate of Science, Technology, and Innovation (DSTI) are collaborating to create a new and enhanced Sierra Leone Asset Declaration System, which will increase transparency, security, and the overall user experience.

The need for a change comes from issues with the previous system, which proved hard for many to use and comply with. This new platform promises to solve usability difficulties by providing an easier to use and effective alternative for asset declarations.

The revised Sierra Leone Asset Declaration System will include huge enhancements such as automatic notifications, real-time verification of asset declarations, and offline usage.

These upgrades are intended to provide users with a more seamless, accessible experience while also increasing compliance and responsibility. The new system, which is expected to be completed by June 2025, will be shown through live public demonstrations, giving residents a firsthand look at how it works and how it aids the fight against corruption.

This improvement is viewed by as a key step toward improving governance and transparency, resulting in a more accountable and effective public sector in Sierra Leone.
