Former ACC boss Ady Macauley expressed his disappointment over the issue of Blackout in the country’s capital, Freetown as the city goes days without electricity. 

Ady Macauley took to his twitter handle and stated that it is a memorable day in Freetown as it happened to be the very date for NEC announcement for the 2023 Presidency, Parliamentary and Local Council election date, with the country facing with water crises and fuel scarcity, making the Capital pitch dark.

He twitted: “Memorable day today. Date for 2023 Presidential Elections announced, there is fuel ️ and water 💧 scarcity and the Country is pitch dark. What a day!!!!

So remember this day when you enter the voting 🗳 booth on 24 June 2023″

Mr. Ady Macauley was the former Ant-Corruption Commission (ACC) Commissioner of Sierra Leone under the leadership of the erstwhile President Ernest Bai Koroma. Ady holds a Bachelor’s of Law (LL.B. Hons.) degree from the University of London.

He obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Education from the Inns of Court School of Law, City University, London and also Master in Anti-Corruption Studies programme in 2017.
