Air Sierra Leone has provided an update on its upcoming winter flight operations, assuring passengers and partners that preparations are progressing smoothly.

The airline stated that it has formally applied to the UK Civil Aviation Authority (UK-CAA) for a winter season operating permit.

The application is currently under review, and the airline is optimistic about receiving approval in the coming days. Once approved, Air Sierra Leone will finalize its slot allocation with London Gatwick Airport.

The airline anticipates completing the regulatory process by mid-September 2025, after which tickets for the winter season will be officially released for sale.

Air Sierra Leone emphasized its commitment to transparency and keeping passengers informed throughout the process, thanking travelers for their patience and continued trust.

“We look forward to welcoming our passengers on board soon,” the airline said in a statement.
