Mayor Yvonne Aki-Sawyerr of Freetown City Council honored the late Brigadier-General Mrs. Kestoria Olufemi Kabia, Sierra Leone’s first female Brigadier-General.

Brigadier-General Kabia, who recently passed away, was celebrated not only for her historic rise in the military ranks but also for her significant contributions to Sierra Leone’s defense forces.
