Alfred Peter Conteh former chairman of the APC ITGC has congratulated Hon. Mohamed Bangura for putting the country’s interest first in honouring the call of the opening of the 6th parliament of the second Republic Of Sierra Leone.
Hon. Mohamed Bangura is recorded to be one out of the 54 members of parliament of the main opposition APC who went against his party’s insight to boycott parliament and the governance of president bio, and there have been many rumours of his expulsion from the party.
Speaking on the rumour making rounds on social media, Alfred Peter Conteh maintained that, the current executive of the APC party have not got any legal right to expel Hon. Mohamed Bangura or any other member from the party.
He congratulated Hon. Mohamed Bangura for subscribing to the oath of Parliament and being the current Minority Leader of the 6th Parliament of the second Republic.
His statement reads; the current de facto executive of the APC does not have an iota of legality to expel anyone from the APC party, including the Hon. Mohamed Bangura who is the current Minority Leader of the 6th Parliament of the 2nd Republic. Congratulations honourable!”
