The APC Interim Transitional Governance Committee’s Chairman, Alfred Peter Conteh has reacted to the 24 hours ultimatum given by the party in a Press Release issued out on Monday the 14th November, 2022.

He took to Twitter a short but mocking comment, decrying the party’s Secretary General and attacking key stakeholders of the party who he referred to as corrupt paymasters.

These are his exact words: “I saw a message believed to have emanated from a man who claims to be the secretary about a 48-hour ultimatum. This is what happens when a butterfly thinks itself a bird. (Provigil) Laughable knowing that his corrupt paymasters were defeated along with their alleged 99 tactics.”

This follows the All People’s Congress (APC) Press Release about giving him a 24 hour ultimatum to submit his 10-man list to form part of the composition of the Transitional Independent Election Management Committee (TIEMC) for the conduct of the party’s lower-level elections.

The APC in the same release, threatened to invoke paragraph 90 (10) (6) of the High Court Orders of Justice Adrian Fisher if Alfred Peter Conteh fails to do as ordered.

This decision of the APC came about as a result of the countless contempt of court he has committed despite efforts of stakeholders to caution him and guide the committee through its mandate.

According to members of the party, Alfred Peter Conteh even went ahead to appoint interim chairmen of the districts, organs and the diaspora against the dictates of the Stakeholders of the party andPPRC and the ruling of Justice Adrian Fisher.
