The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) welcomed a high-level delegation from the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission LACC at the Integrity House, Tower Hill, Freetown. On 29th July 2025.
The visit, aimed at fostering collaboration and mutual learning, was led by LACC Vice Executive Chairman Ernest Hughes, who emphasized the strong ties between the two nations and the importance of learning from Sierra Leone’s anti-corruption efforts.
ACC Commissioner Francis Ben Kaifala assured the team of full cooperation and support, while Deputy Commissioner Augustine Foday Ngobie expressed the ACC’s readiness to strengthen existing partnerships, including a review of the current MoU.

Commissioner Kaifala, further inform that the Vice Chairman of the Liberia Anticorruption Commission (LACC), who is here in Sierra Leone on a week of working with us as part of TWINNING AGREEMENT in order to strengthen their prevention work in Liberia.
‘’ It was an honour receiving the team and welcoming them as they spend the rest of the week with my team at ACC Sierra Leone deepening their experience and sharing in our work,’’ he said.
Finally, he added that ‘’The week-long engagement will expose the LACC team to the ACC’s strategies and operational methods in the fight against corruption.’’
