Members of the Opposition All People’s Congress Party has expressed strong condemnation over the spate of fake doctorate degrees paraded by highly placed people in the society, especially the current Government.

The party blames the SLPP government for this, stating that it is pathetic and a negligence on their part for failing to check registration of fake academic institutions.

“ it’s a disgrace that a government that seeks to re-brand the country’s image is condoning such ignoble acts” it stated.

“ the APC is ashamed of the plunge in the country’s reputation as a beacon of Education in West Africa” it added.

They call on the government to address the matter and demand that they apologize to the people for bringing the countries name into disrepute.
