According to the High Court Court ruling, the All Peoples Congress(APC) is expected to hold its National Delegates Conference to elect a new national executive body in September this year.

The convention which will be organized by a court ordered 21-man interim Transitional Governance Committee(I TGC) will be held following the conclusion of low-level elections to elect members that will make up the composition of national delegates.

Updating party members on the court ordered timeline, Lawyer Timbo said the committee which takes up to the 3rd of this year to formulate the rules and regulations for conduct of the lower -level elections and to hand over the document to the political Parties Registration Commission for publication in the Government Gazzete.

The committee, he added, should ensure that all lower -level elections are conducted within 60 days; after which, it has 28 days to organize a national delegates conference.
