Sierra Leone’s main opposition party, All People’s Congress (APC) has announced that their National Delgates Conference will take place on 18th, and 19th of February 2023, at the Regional Party Headquarters in Makeni.

APC’s Interim Transitional Governing Committe (ITGC) made this announcement in a notice issued today, Friday 10 February 2023.

“In compliance with the directives of the High Court of Sierra Leone, the ITGC hereby informs the public, particularly the membership of the APC Party that the first National Delegates Conference under the APC 2022 Constitution is scheduled for the 17th, 18th, and 19th of February 2023, at the Regional Party Headquarters in Makeni,” the notice reads.

It adds that, “Accordingly, application forms for various national offices national offices as enshrined in Article 9 Paragraph (2)-(7) of the All Peoples Congress 2022 Transitional Elections’ Rules and Regulation are now available at the ITGC Application Desk, at the Party’s Secretariat 11ª Old Railway line Brookfields Freetown, from Friday the 10th of February 2023 to Monday the 13th of February 2023.”

All interested applicants shall pay a non-refundable application processing fee in cash as contained in Table 1, pursuant to Article 9 Paragraph 10(c) of the All Peoples Congress 2022 Transitional Elections’ Rules and Regulation.
