The High Court granted more members to the opposite side of the Plaintiff and a limited number of persons to Alfred Peter Conteh, the Plaintiff in the matter between Alfred Peter Conteh vs. Ernest Bai Koroma, the APC party and others have boomeranged as some of the members have been illegally involved in several fake nights and verifications of party members, using expired party cards that have been rejected by both the court and the Political Parties Commission PPRC)
The same High Court supported simple majority over 2/3 majority has left the Plaintiff in a state of mockery as most votes conducted on issues raised are always in favour of the other side winning the Plaintiff.
It sounds very ridiculous to witness a situation where the Plaintiff that emerged victorious in the matter is left unprotected and subsequently in a state of ridicule. Only in the matter between Alfred Peter Conteh that the presiding Judge treated the Plaintiff with contempt and scom.
The consequences of such action that was down have generated a barrage of fake party cards being used and issued at night by some members of the expired executives that have been referred to as disbanded and warned not to carry themselves out as Executive Members of the APC party until they renew their positions by taking part in elections for the sante-positions or others and win. Unfortunately, the products of the expired Executive
Members are what some of the sections of the party or supporters are currently using and initiating massive voter registration and verification e during the night. Being supported by the High Court that ridiculed the Plaintiff and left him exposed, the situation has turned out to be a laughing stock, with limited or no respect for the flip-flopping judgment that was delivered amid high speculations.
The cards signed by the expired and defunct Secretary General of the party that the Judgment warned against not being put into use by the APC Party are what some of the members are using in hibernated locations. Similar caution was also given by the PPRC to the APC party in several of their meetings, but because the Judge that handed down the judgment is in favour of a simple majority, everything is now in shamble.
The other side of the Interim Governance (IGTC) committee has taken advantage of the 12/9 sharing and has reportedly violated the order of the warning of the PPRC. The cast by members of the Interim Committee relating to voter cards outweighed Plaintiff and its nine members.
“This is because the Judge always wanted it that way”. Echoed by a member of the Committee.
It could be recalled that in one of the meetings with the PPRC and the BIG SIX, it was made very clear that those cards were prepared and signed by the expired Secretary General, Amb. Today Osman Yansaneh should not be used.
The BIG SIX threatened to take legal ‘action against any of the parties that will use the cards. While it is reported that all the Rokel Banks in the Country were jam-packed with members and supporters of the APC Party queuing in long lines to pay their membership dues and other financial obligations, a group of APC party operatives have engaged in illegal nocturnal activities such as the registration of party members using cards that have been signed by the former Secretary General of the party.
At the east end of Freetown, one of the locations where the illegal registration and verification are reportedly taking place is at a location provided by Mr Med Kay
