Justice Hannah Bonnie has ordered lawyers representing the All People’s Congress (APC) party to serve the necessary papers to the plaintiff if they wish to vacate the interim injunction.

The judge noted that the serving of documents to the plaintiff should be the first step before the party approach the court to lift the interim injunction slammed against the Interim Transition and Governance Committee’s (ITGC) conference slated for this weekend in Makeni.

According to the Judiciary, the APC had earlier filed a notice of motion to vacate the injunction. Against this backdrop, the court reaffirmed that the interim injunction is still in force.

In another news, The Secretary of the ITGC has prodded shortlisted applicants to submit their bank slips by 12 noon today ahead of the delegates conference.

Some members of the party are still unsure as to whether the conference will go ahead as scheduled.
