Alpha Sheriff, famously known as APC Sheriff, found himself in the hands of the residents of Gloucester after a daring escape from the male correctional center, Pademba Road Prison.
Sheriff, along with other inmates, broke free during what authorities termed an attempted coup on Sunday.
The arrest followed authorities’ announcement of a cash reward for capturing escaped prisoners and their accomplices.
This incident unfolded despite Sheriff and 8 others being previously denied bail and held at the Male Correctional Facility on Pademba Road for allegedly possessing arms without a valid license back in August.
The citizens’ swift action led to the arrest of the escaped inmates, with Sheriff now facing renewed scrutiny and legal consequences.

An open letter to President Bio.
If the military, police, and all the other security agencies are putting their lives in danger, and even some paying with their lives as ultimate sacrifice to protect you and our beloved Country, I want you this time to fearlessly conduct investigation in this coup plot and deal with any one involved according to our constitution. I want you to set up a court martial tribunal and anybody find guilty face a firing squads even if my father is involved. It’s time to put an end to these vagabond away for the betterment of our country.
Enough is enough. Dialogue has failed, and this attempted coup affirmed that there is nothing else to be done as a government and its people.
What happened on Sunday brings back fresh memories of how my beloved nieces and nephews were killed in Katibie as they ran from the RABEL, and so are every other families.
The ultimate sacrifices made by those galant soldiers we should not let’s their lives go in vain. These families have lost their fathers, uncles, grandpas etc, etc.
Court martial is the answer. We are tired of being victims in our own country.

Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes. Maada Bio, you have tried for peace and APC leaders and supporters DON’T want peace. Why, why are you giving them ice creams to eat. Why can’t you give them FIRE to swallow. Even God destroyed those who mocked Him. Yes. All those prisoners should be taking to Bonthe Island or Banana Island prison and do their trials there. “America still have death penalty”.
