The National Secretariat of the All People’s Congress (APC) has issued a public notice regarding the verification of membership status for specific categories of its members. The verification exercise is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 20th March 2025, at the party’s headquarters in Freetown, starting at 11:00 AM.

The verification process is mandatory for the following categories of APC members:

  1. APC Members of Parliament

  2. Mayors, Chairpersons of Local Councils, and Councilors

  3. Former APC Ministers, Ambassadors, and Other Government Functionaries

  4. Lawyers and Other Professionals

In line with the party’s procedural requirements, members falling within these categories are required to remit the prescribed application and subscription fees through designated payment channels before the verification. The payment details are as follows:

  • Bank Payment:

  • Bank Name: Rokel Commercial Bank

  • Account Name: All People’s Congress Registration

  • Account Number: 1086762

Mobile Payment (Orange Money):

  • Dial #144#, then follow these steps:

Option 3 → Option 13 → Option 15 → Option 1 → Option 1, and select the appropriate category.

Upon payment, members must present the following documents to the National Secretariat for verification:

  1. Official payment receipt issued by the bank or mobile payment system.

  2. Evidence of prior membership status within the party.

The prescribed application fees and monthly subscription dues are as follows:

  • Honorary Foundation: Application Fee – LE 50.00, Monthly Dues – LE 100.00

  • Patron: Application Fee – LE 50.00, Monthly Dues – LE 1,000.00

  • Honorary Executive: Application Fee – LE 20.00, Monthly Dues – LE 100.00

It is important to note that the Honorary Foundation Membership is exclusively reserved for individuals holding positions as stipulated under the APC Constitution 2022.

The National Secretariat has also indicated that further announcements will be made regarding the verification and issuance of membership cards for other categories of members.

This verification exercise is part of the APC’s ongoing efforts to streamline its membership records and ensure compliance with its constitutional requirements. Members are urged to adhere to the guidelines and timelines provided to avoid any disruptions in their membership status.
