Sierra Leone’s Minister of Health and Sanitation, Austin Demby has engaged Mercy Ships on Partnership and other related issues in the health sector.

He also gave an overview from his observation at the Mercy Ships with relation to their operations and treatment pattern. He maintained that, the Pre-operations for patient have already begun and going well as expected, adding that, the first surgery is schedule for Tuesday.

He disclosed that, the tour of over 100 bed hospital, 6 surgical theatres, and fully functional clinical labs was amazing. “It’s a Go at Mercy Ships. Partnership meeting yesterday. Pre-OP for patients on-going and first surgery scheduled for Tuesday.  Joined amazing tour of over 100 bed-hospital, 6 surgical theatres, fully functional clinical labs, imaging with CTScan and mobile X-Ray.” He stated.
