Africa Young Voices (AYV) Media Empire, Africell, Afrimoney and other reliable partners has launched a new Reality TV show, Hidden Treasure at the AYV Media Empire headquarters in Freetown.
Speaking at the launch event on Thursday 22nd April 2021, CEO of AYV, Anthony Navo Junior said Hidden Treasure is an exciting reality TV show that brings together twenty (20) young participants in the jungle to compete and find a hidden treasure that will change their lives forever.
The TV Reality Show kicked off on Tuesday 27th April, 2021, Sierra Leone’s 60th Independence Anniversary with 25 Gladiators entering the forest as the first step to a thousand miles.
Participant are divided into groups and tasks are allocated by the patrol commander and they are graded based on their performance and voting on each task and move to different levels on each task until the treasure is found.
In stage one, participants will be divided into groups where they will endure military training and exercises, while in stage two various tasks allocated by the patrol commander and they are graded based on their performance and voting on each task, they will progress in the different levels been given, those with the least point and vote are evicted from the show.
At stage three, qualifiers to the final stage will have to find a treasure that is kept in a secretive place in camp; they will have to find the treasure due to their agility and prowess.
“The ultimate aim for the show is to promote and show case Sierra Leone culture, food and history, as Sierra Leone celebrates its 60 years independence anniversary.”, Anthony Navo Junior said.
The show reminisce the good old days with fun games like ah die, ludo, touch, balance ball and many more. History of various ethnic groups, preparation of various local food and lecture from distinguished Sierra Leonean that will grace the show.
