Award winning multimedia journalist, Amadu Lamrana Bah has been promoted to Director of News and Current Affairs at the AYV Media Empire.

Bah hosts the hard talk show ‘AYV Hot Seat’, which is an educative show where governance players, including political leaders, rights activists and administrators, among others are hosted to talk on contemporary issues.

He is presently serving as President of the Sierra Leone Reporters Union, advocating for better conditions of service for reporters.

Prior to his appointment as Director of News and Current Affairs, Bah was the Deputy Director of News and Current Affairs and Director of Digital Media.

He joined the AYV Media Empire in 2018 as reporter, and later climbed up to presenter, producer and Deputy Director of News and Current Affairs and Director of Digital Media.
