Chernor Bah, Minister of Information and Civic Education, visited his hometown of Jimmi Bagbo on March 31st, 2024.

During his visit, he made donations of rice and assorted items to the community, with a particular focus on the Muslim Jamaat (community).

Minister Bah emphasized his longstanding ties to Jimmi Bagbo, stating that spending time there has always been a pleasure for him. He met with community leaders, inspected ongoing and potential development projects, and joined the Chiefdom Imam and elders for prayers and Iftar (breaking of Ramadan fast) at the Central Mosque.

The Minister also visited the proposed site for a Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) office in Jimmi Bagbo. He expressed his commitment to working with stakeholders to ensure the successful construction of the office. His visit reportedly included outreach to other dignitaries in the area.
