President Julius Maada Bio has today announced several key appointments within his government, according to a public notice issued by the Office of the President at State House.
The reshuffle sees Mr. Ibrahim Sannoh appointed as the new Minister of Youth Affairs.
In another significant move, Mr. Eric Massallay has been named the Deputy Minister of Communications, Technology and Innovation.
The President has also appointed Mr. Mustapha Mac Lissa as the Managing Director of the Sierra Leone National Shipping Company. Mr. Mac Lissa will be responsible for leading the national shipping entity and contributing to the development of the maritime sector in Sierra Leone.
Furthermore, Dr. Eldred Taylor has been appointed as the Chairman of the Office of Presidential Infrastructure Initiative.
The appointments were officially announced in a public notice signed by Mr. Emmanuel A.R. Gaima, the Secretary to the President at State House in Freetown, dated April 8th, 2025.
