President Julius Maada Bio has appointed Ahmed Atata Mansaray in accordance with section 11 (1)of the National Youth Commission Act, 2009 as Commissioner, National Youth Commission, subject to the approval of Parliament.

Mansaray is reportedly hailed from Kenema District later came to Freetown to pursue university studies at the Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone in 2006.

He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts honors in English Language and English Literature in 2011. He on to get his LLB in 2017 that gave him access to Law School and was called to bar upon completion.

He is awaiting his Masters degree in Public Administration from the Institute of Public Administration and Management.

He currently works with R B Kowa & Associates at the Mendewo Chambers. He had also worked with the Livelihood Technical Skills Project as Field Manager.
