President Julius Maada has acknowledged the clamouring among intending  SLPP presidential aspirants to succeed him. However, he cautioned that these Intending  successors should help him to deliver and at the end, use his success story as evidence based data to get his seat.

The President made this clarion call on Tuesday 21th May during the opening session of a two-day cabinet retreat held in Bo Town, Southern Sierra Leone with the theme; “Deepening coordination, collaboration and and cooperation for accelerated delivery.”

President Bio urges ministers to stop working in silos, emphasizing the need to work as a team with their deputies.

I see a lot of People jogging around to take my seat but you should help me deliver and at the end, you will use my Success Story as an evidence based data to get my seat.” he said

He urged his cabinet Ministers to deliver for the development of all Sierra Leoneans, stressing the need to deliver on their manifesto promises especially the ‘Feed Salone’ agenda, noting that in the last one year they have not been truly inspiring as they ought to be.

The cabinet retreat was climaxed by an exciting match at the Southern Arena between Cabinet vs Bo Local Council. Cabinet  won the match with an impressive Man-of-the-Match performance by the Honorable Vice President and two goals by  information Minister, Chernor Bah.
