President Julius Maada Bio has highlighted Sierra Leone’s investment opportunities at the Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) roundtable held in Washington, DC, on September 30, 2025.
In his remarks, President Bio outlined the sweeping reforms implemented by his government to create a secure and dynamic environment for investors, stressing Sierra Leone’s readiness for stronger business partnerships.
He noted that listening to testimonials from current investors who praised the country’s transparency and support was particularly encouraging. “I can’t wait to see even more vibrant US–Sierra Leone business partnerships flourish in the near future,” President Bio said.
The Corporate Council on Africa, founded in 1993, is the leading U.S. business association focused exclusively on advancing trade and investment between the United States and African nations.
