Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, Dr. David Moinina Sengeh says the government of President Julius Maada Bio has created over 2 million jobs across Sierra Leone far more than the 500,000 that was promised in the SLPP manifesto.

Speaking recently in an interview, Sengeh said the jobs have come from different sectors, including youth programs, agriculture, and transport.

He mentioned that under the Ministry of Youth, many young people have been supported through skills training and job placements. In agriculture, others are earning through farming projects and agribusiness.

He also pointed out the growing number of kekeh drivers and small business owners who are now making a living through support from government-backed initiatives.

According to the Chief Minister, all of these are ways people are now able to earn money opportunities that were not widely available before.

He said the government is proud to have gone beyond its original job target and is still working to create more chances for young people across the country.
